As many of you know we have been working on recording material for a couple upcoming releases we have planned. Its hard work and we wanted to take a break to show you something we’ve had in the works for almost a year now. Last summer we got lost in the woods and shot a video for our song Emberage. After some tours with the National Guard other various adventures we have it all edited and ready to go. So here it is. Don’t be afraid to share it on the interwebs as we hope you guys all like as much as we do.

Special thanks to Hello Me Films and G$ Productions for all your help in the production and filming of this video. It was truly a team effort.

Very Special thanks to Jerome Smith for putting the finishing touches on this project and getting it in our hands! Also to Pat Escandon for letting us take over his back yard for two days while we shot this video.

A New Leaf

by pete on Jan.28, 2012, under news

HELLLOOOO….

Its been a while since we said hey to all our fans, friends, supporters, and colleagues. Seriously, way too long. But if you’ve been in a band before you’ll understand we’ve had to rework somethings internally, and allow everyone to handle some things going on in their personal lives. As we look forward to 2012 we can take a look back on our accomplishments in 2011 and say, “hey, that was a pretty good year.” We released our first long play album “Viewing Room,” we went on our first US tour, and got hooked up with Monolith Management.  When we look back on it it is still hard to believe we got all that stuff done primarily on our own and with an extremely tight budget. We’d like to say “thank you” again to all who were a part of our journey, and to everyone who came out to support us at our shows.

That being said we definitely learned a lot over the last couple years, and we feel ready to comeback in a big way. We’ve been writing material for our next record, and are currently in the studio laying down some demos. We’re gonna be pretty busy for the next several months making this record, but we still want to give our fans a way to connect. We’re planning some local shows over the next months in which we’re gonna strip down our set. Look for shows where we’ll be playing some old favorites and classy covers with just our acoustics, or maybe a laptop or synth or two. We also wanna give you guys some insight into the process we’re going through in making this record, so we’ll be posting some candid vids on YouTube in the near future. And if you guys play nice we’ll even release some bootleg copies of the demos we’ll be recording. More details on all of that to come. In the meantime stay connected on twitter and Facebook as that’s where Garrett and I tend to voice our opinions on life, the Universe, and everything.

Be well and merry,

Pete
